SYNOPSIS: LITTLE DREAMS is the story of Ghareeb, a 13-year-old Egyptian boy who lives with his mother in Suez during the period leading up to the outbreak of the 1967 war between Egypt and Israel. Ghareeb's father died heroically during the 1956 Suez war and the young boy longs for a father figure. He finds it in Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser. Ghareeb joins the local resistance, convinced that victory is near. But during the war he loses his home, his mother, his town and his little dreams.
