SYNOPSIS: Krystyna Janda portrays a vivacious cabaret singer who is imprisoned by the government. Never informed of her supposed crime, she is subjected to harrowing torture and questioning, which she desperately withstands in her struggle to maintain dignity and sanity. Upon its completion, the film was banned and remained unseen until the director managed to flee the country, smuggling out a copy of the film.
