- SYNOPSIS: Probably the first feature length avant garde film produced in America, DREAMS THAT MONEY CAN BUY is an omnibus work in which seven dreams are offered for sale by Joe, a poor young poet with a rich imagination. The dreams of seven different people; each dream episode is shaped by one of the contributing visual artists: Max Ernst, Fernand Leger, Man Ray, Marcel Duchamp, Alexander Calder, and of couse, Hans Richter, who directed the entire remarkable adventure.
With the participation of Paul Bowles, John Latouche, Libby Holman, Josh White, Darius Milhaud, John Cage, David Diamond, Louis Applebaum, Jack Bittner, Julien Levy.
