- SYNOPSIS: BOOGIE IN BLUE is a bitter-sweet tribute to Harry "the Hipster" Gibson, heralded as the "mad boogie woogie genius" of his time. Although not a household name, Gibson played and partied with many legendary greats: Charlie Parker, Billie Holliday, Art Tatum and Fats Waller. By combining rare perfomance footage, photographs, interviews of Gibson, his family and fellow musicians, BOOGIE IN BLUE successfully creates a protrait of a wildly talented and complex man who was born to entertain.
Directed by Arlena Gibson and Flavyn Feller
